Time isn't
so that everything doesn't happen at once; everything doesn't happen at once so that the magician can place his assistants intricately enough that once the illusion is orchestrated, no assistant will remember that he's in a trick, a mechanism in the illusion.

I really like this statement. Is it an isolated observational comment, or is it related to your faith of churchs post? Either way, while I will never remeber it well enough to quote it, it will color my thinking from now on.
